Math Tutor DVD has posted a free tool to help students
visualize the concept of line slope in Algebra. The
student simply enters in any two points in the x-y plane
and the tool will calculate the slope between these two
points and graphically draw a graph of the line passing
between these two points!

Interactive Derivative Graph Posted
Math Tutor DVD has created an interactive way
to learn about derivatives in calculus. The student
enters any function right into the web page and
then the student is shown what the derivative of
that function is along with its
derivative graph!
Interactive Unit Circle Posted!
Math Tutor DVD has created an interactive
PreCalculus Unit Circle that graphically shows
the unit circle along with the Sin and Cos of any
angle that the user inputs.
As you select the input angle the interactive graphic instantly
shows the student the projection of the angle onto the x-axis
(showing Cosine) and the y-axis (showing Sine).
Mathematica Tutorial Video Posted!
Hi, I have begun a section of MathTutorDVD.com related
Mathematica Tutorial Videos.
Wolfram Mathematica is one of the most powerful math
software programs in the world. Mathematica can handle
graphing, algebra, geometry, advanced calculus, and is
frequently used in the science and engineering fields.
This section contains a set of Mathematica Tutorial
videos designed to teach you Mathematica quickly and
easily. Mathematica has thousands of functions and
commands and can seem quite complicated to use for
the beginning user.
Our Mathematica Tutorial Videos are designed to get you
up to speed quickly so that you spend less time fiddling
with the program and more time using it.
If you would like to learn mathematica, this is the place!
New Math Articles Posted!
Over the years students, parents, and teachers have
asked for advice on teaching techniques for teaching
algebra and other subjects.
As a result, I have posted an article with my top 4 tips and
techniques on How to Teach Algebra!
These techniques actually apply to teaching any subject,
and in the future I will post other articles with tips and
techniques!
I have also posted an article on How to Teach Fractions that should be of interest to teachers and parents!
