Circuit Analysis: Volume 1 – Section 6
Kirchhoff’s Voltage Law
In this lesson, we introduce the concept known as Kirchhoff’s Voltage
Law (KVL), which is the companion law to the Current Law that we
discussed in the previous section. Here, we learn how to walk around
any loop of a circuit and write an equation that relates the voltage drop
across all circuit elements. Using Kirchhoff’s Voltage Law along with
the KCL law learned previously allows us to solve circuits of increasing
complexity.
