Lesson 10 is up in the Pre-Algebra Section!
We’ve posted lessons 11-13 of the TI-89 Calculator Tutor:
Lesson 11: Using the Numeric Equation Solver
Lesson 12: Solving Systems of Equations
Lesson 13: Solving Trigonometric Equations
Hi, we’ve put up an interactive notebook that give some
hands-on interaction with the concept of
Scientific Notation. Please see the link below in the Unit
Conversion Tutor area and look right under the main video:
I have created my first interactive notebook that lets the
student explore the concept of a derivative in calculus 1!
Head on over to the calculus 1 page and look right under
the main video lesson on derivatives!
We’ve posted Lesson 9 of the Pre-Algebra Tutor titled:
“Order of Operations”.
We’ve posted lessons 4-10 of the TI-89 Calculator Tutor:
Lesson 4 – Basic Arithmetic and Exponents
Lesson 5 – Calculating with Fractions
Lesson 6 – Logarithms and Square Roots
Lesson 7 – Sin, Cos, Tan, and other Trig Functions
Lesson 8 – Storing and Using Variables
Lesson 9 – User Defined Algebraic Functions
Lesson 10 – Solving Algebraic Equations and Inequalities
Lesson 2 covers the Mode Menu of the TI-89
Calculator and covers things such as how to set
the scientfic notation, fixed and floating decimal
points, degree modes, split screen modes, exact
and approximate calculation modes, and more!
Lesson 3 covers the Catalog Menu and the first
sub-menu of the Math Menu which deals with
numbers such as absolute value, rounding,
nth roots, and more!
Hi, we’ve posted lesson 8 of Pre-Algebra Tutor,
which is titled “Powers and Exponents”!
Now that the TI-84 tutorials are finished, I just started
the video tutorials for the TI-89, which you can find on
the menu at left.
It will take a while to plow through all of the TI-89’s
functions though….this calculator can do an
incredible amount of work in algebra, calculus, and
even in differential equations!
